www.JanetCromer.com
Events

Janet enjoys sharing her experiences and knowledge in a variety of settings. She speaks widely at brain injury and caregiver conferences, support groups, hospitals, rehabilitation programs, and schools. Her topics are always tailored for your specific audience.

Janet's topics for professional audiences include brain injury as a chronic illness, family caregiver challenges, health issues, intimacy and sexuality, and coping strategies. She is particularly interested in ethical issues and tabu subjects caregivers don't share with professionals. Janet is one of the few speakers who can explain what it is like to survive cardiac arrest with substantial brain damage and go on to make a new life and marriage from the dual perspective of survivor and caregiver.

When speaking to survivors and family caregivers, Janet often focuses on coping strategies and skills for self-empowerment, advocating for services as needs change, and family relationship issues.

Janet is a knowledgeable media source for print, radio, TV, and web-based media interviews. She can speak from her dual perspective as an experienced psychotherapist as well as a spousal caregiver.

Janet also thrives on meeting readers at community and organization events, book store and library readings, churches, civic groups, and book clubs.

How about setting up a Skype video visit with Janet for your book club, writer's group, or support group?

Janet's speaking style is very interactive and lively, with a generous sprinkling of humor. She always brings handouts to highlight her presentation.
