Janet Cromer, RN, MA, LMHC is a medical and psychiatric RN with 35 years of experience. As a licensed psychotherapist for 23 years, she specializes in psychological aspects of brain injury and medical illness, family caregiver issues, stress resilience, and adaptation skills. Her memoir Professor Cromer Learns to Read: A Couple’s New Life after Brain Injury received the Neal Duane Award for Distinction and a Solimene Award for Excellence in Medical Communication from the American Medical Writers Association-NE Chapter. Janet has been an award-winning writer of healthcare feature articles for 7 years.
